This is New Farm park in the early afternoon. I kinda grew up here. Indeed my very first school was New Farm Primary. I don’t visit his place nearly enough these days.
It was hard to get any good shots of the actual ceremony. But this is the vibe. It was a beautiful wedding. I totally enjoyed it.
The crazy-awesome couple just after.
Me being arty with the afternoon sun and the rotunda.
Tim and me looking gangsta.
This is Beth. A few of us snuck in a drink at the Powerhouse between “sets”.
It’s a great park, even greater in the twilight.
There was a guy walking 4 dogs at once. I thought that shit only happened in New York!
So the Reception was at the Zoo and Dee and I walked there. On the way we saw this tree being propped up by poles. It seems a little undignified. If I was a tree and my limbs needed this I would be a bit, “just let me die, or wither, or fall apart, or just crush a person underneath one day in doing so – with a tiny bit of dignity. Sheesh!”
So we stopped at the Alibi Room for a rest and a drink and some food. Boy has it changed. Apart from the shitty art on the walls, they now have skill-tester machines. Bizarre.
Just making the photos. Winn lane.
A blurry Scott with Laura – our London mate and, I think perhaps, Tim’s sister as well.
Laura (and Tracey) spent all of Saturday making these bad boys. They are total troopers, not to mention generally awesome in all other fields.
This is Mel on the left – who is one of my absolute besties, and a woman from New York, via Sydney who I talked to for ages but I cannot remember her name. She was impressed I knew New York’s subway system so well.
This is a blurry Ross and Emily. OMG – such a beautiful couple.
I did not take this photo – but this is Victoria, Vanessa and someone else who I didn’t quite get introduced to. Soz! Good work whoever took it!
I love this shot. This is Skye, Sarah and James. Sarah you may notice has this medical crap attached to her right arm. See, a month ago she took a big chunk out of her wrist falling on a broken wine glass and she’s a photographer and she hasn’t been able to work for months. Poor Sez.
This is Beth and Mel and Emily. Such posers. 🙂
This is D-Wizz, the surprise entertainment.
Everyone, including the bride and groom, enjoying the entertainment.
Rachel and Jeffro. Beautiful, beautiful people.
Simon Topper. Almost the funniest person I know – apart from me. We should have a pun-off one day. I would win of course, but I just might accidentally let him take the glory.
This is Dee in the cab ride home filling me in on all the bits I missed!
